    Hi,

install NEW ROMs (custom) based on Android – Isn’t it Hardware? Can we change it from Motherboard or it a software?
kernels – Again software or a hardware.
Bootloader – is a software right.

How can we Root to get new rom and kernel. Step-by-step instructions please.

    • sohil memon says

Bro, Android is an Operating System, right? But its official made by Google and Copyright. So, custom ROMs are one type of Operating System with more features than Android OS.

The kernel is a software only which enables any of the OS to boot. Android OS has its own kernel (Google) and few Custom ROMs required different kernel to boot up. And if you want to install any other kernel it requires to unlock bootloader.

Here is the post to install new ROM with step by step instruction: http://www.androidrooting.com/liquidsmooth-custom-rom-for-samsung-galaxy-note-2-gt-n7100-1/
