How to Install LIGUX ROM on Samsung Galaxy Ace -

  1. First of download this file and transfer it to your SD card.
  2. after transferring the the file power off your phone, and i’m assuming that you’ve already installed the CWM Recovery 5 on your phone, if you need a tutorial for it too then please comment below.
  3. so now press Home + Power key together to boot into the CWM Recovery, use volume up and down keys to navigate and Home button to select.
  4. So now the main steps begin, select Wipe Data/Factory Reset and then select Yes.
  5. Now Select Wipe Cache Partition and then select Yes.
  6. Now Go to the Advanced and then select Wipe Dalvik cache and then select yes, then go back to the main menu.
  7. now select install zip from SD card and then select the Zip file that we’ve downloaded in step 1.
  8. installation will take some time, after the installation select Reboot system now.
  9. the first reboot will take a long time so don’t worry about that. after the reboot enjoy the ROM.

    i got my phone rooted. i also pasted the custom rom on my sd card but when i went to recovery mode and when i clicked on install update from sd card it showed me an error that no update was found. it even didnt opened the files on sd card. please help!!!!!

      it should say “Install zip from sd-card” not “install update from sd-card” Then you probably don’t have custom recovery? =D Download and flash CWM (Clockworkmod-recovery 5)

    Sir i have samsung ace s5830..i was try to update my android version 2.3.6 to 4.2…but after update by recovery mode when i was click on reboot it goes in dead mode..nthing happening..no recovery mode start and no download mode..and also phone not start…can u give me some solution for that…software update in dead mode…?

      If you really have the S5830 and it happened with you then i would say that you’ve soft bricked your phone. you can try to restore it by searching tutorials on Google or maybe get your phone to Samsung Store.
